Westport Golf Club

Westport Golf Club is an 18 hole championship golf course, designed by renowned international golf course architects Fred Hawtree and Sons, situated in Mayo. In 1908 Westport golf club was founded at Trafalgar Park, now Known as Horkan’s Hill, just a ten minute walk from Westport town center. The town of Westport is located on the shores of the Clew Bay, surrounded by incredibly beautiful countryside and the majestic Croagh Patrick.

A magnificent view of the course, Clew Bay and Ireland’s Holy Mountain Croagh Patrick, can be seen from the bar & restaurant area. The locals will tell you that the best time to avail of this vista is late afternoon, from mid May to August, when a setting sun seems to be rolling down the side of Croagh Patrick.
